WHY IT MATTERS

Let me explain

Speaking at MEED’s Shaping Mega Projects conference in Riyadh on 28 September 2026, acting CEO Dale Chadwick said 95% of phase-one and phase-two contracts had been awarded and irrigation for both phases was installed. The foundation planned to present its opening plan to the board, with announcements expected in the coming months. The Royal Arts Complex is due to be handed over to the Ministry of Culture within three to six months, about 4 million plants are to be planted this season at 50,000–60,000 a day, and the public realm accounts for about SR50bn of investment (MEED, 30 September 2026).
