Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium in Qiddiya: SAR 1.15 billion contract to design, supply and install the glass facades in 863 days

IKK Fangda JV, owned 51% by China Fangda Group's Shihui International Holdings and 49% by Saudi Arabia's Isam Kabbani & Partners, has signed a SAR 1.15 billion (about USD 306 million) contract to design, supply and install the curtain-wall facades of Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium in Qiddiya, within 863 days.

WHY IT MATTERS

Let me explain

The contract was signed with the stadium's general contractor, Uptown Stadium Construction JV (Spain's FCC Construccion and Saudi Arabia's Nesma & Partners Contracting), and covers the main venue, the museum and the ancillary buildings. China Fangda Group described it as one of the world's major curtain-wall projects; its value equals 60.7% of the group's audited 2025 operating revenue. The works must meet Saudi standards and deal with high winds at the cliff-top site on the Tuwaiq escarpment, sandstorms and extreme temperatures. The stadium is designed for more than 45,000 spectators and is one of 15 stadiums in Saudi Arabia's 2034 FIFA World Cup bid. In September, the SAR 829 million mechanical package went to Elegancia Arabia Trading, according to Estithmar Holding (China Fangda Group disclosure via Arab News, 21 October 2026).
