WHY IT MATTERS

Let me explain

The fund aims to achieve real estate development in the Kingdom by enabling beneficiaries to own suitable housing. To that end it pays the profit on the subsidised housing loan, fully or partially, through banks and finance companies, lends to real estate developers and financiers, and provides full or partial guarantees to financiers for some target groups. For engineers, the fund may invest part of its capital in developing residential and commercial areas through partnerships with real estate developers, municipalities and their companies, and regional and city development authorities, and may take part in or finance residential projects and complexes under contracts with public and private bodies. It operates on commercial principles and standards. Official website: redf.gov.sa (Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers; National Development Fund).
