WHY IT MATTERS

Let me explain

The authority's core purpose is real estate registration in the Kingdom and regulating, supervising and developing non-governmental real estate activity to raise its efficiency and encourage investment. It licenses real estate activities, sets their controls and standards, coordinates with the relevant bodies to ensure the integration of infrastructure for real estate, and monitors sector indicators to keep the market stable and balanced. For engineers, a licence to sell or lease off-plan real estate projects requires architectural designs and engineering plans approved by the competent authorities and a contract with a consulting office. Its programmes include Ejar, the Real Estate Registry, real estate brokerage (FAL licences), off-plan sales and leasing, and real estate indicators.
