WHY IT MATTERS

Let me explain

Roads: the Taif Road–Qiddiya link is at 81% and the Second Southern Ring Road at 45%, within a programme of about 700 km of corridors and more than 330 intersections; Taif Road in Laban district toward Qiddiya is due to open soon. Bridges: the two bridges parallel to the Wadi Laban suspension bridge are at 42%, after the first bridge's main piers were completed and girder installation began, with preparatory works on the second and the interchange with the Western Ring Road. Parks: Al-Uruba Park is at 55% and King Abdulaziz Park at 50%, among 14 major parks covering more than 12 million m²; the major parks in east Riyadh (Al-Munisiyah, Al-Qadisiyah, Al-Rimal) are at 85%.
